Picture Day is coming! It is March 20th. Your student should come home with a picture packet today!
Join us this Thursday for a Meet & Greet with the Superintendent Finalists. Engage with both candidates, let them know what you are looking for in a Superintendent, ask the important questions. All community members are welcome! (Light refreshments will be provided.)
No school Monday, January 15 because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
December 21st will be our last day in December and this is a full school day. Christmas break is December 25 - January 7. We return on January 8, 2024. Have a wonderful & blessed Christmas!
Whipple Ranch Christmas Concert is Thursday Dec 7 at 1pm in the District Auditorium. Students are encouraged to wear nice clothing (Sunday dress).
The concert will last less than 1 hour. Parents are welcome to check out students after the concert, but students will not be released until after the ENTIRE concert/all grades have finished. There is a combined final number at the end.

There is a power outage today. School is being closed early. If you are able, please come and check your student out. If they ride the bus, please wait for the teacher's phone call to give your child permission to ride home on the bus.

A huge shout out and congratulations to our current Show Low Unified School District Athletic Director, Mr. John Kashner!! He is being inducted into the Arizona Coach Hall of Fame for his service as a football coach for his coaching careers at Casa Grande Union High School and Flowing Wells High School.

"Kashner's 20 year high school head coaching football career began at Casa Grande Union High in 1979. He accepted the head coaching position at Flowing Wells High in 1988. In 1997, he was named head coach at Coolidge. His teams posted an overall winning percentage of over 50% and were Region Champions four times. John was named Region Coach of the Year three times and Area Coach of the Year four times.
In 1996, he served as head coach of the State All-Star Game and served twice as an assistant coach for that game. He served the coaching profession tirelessly as an officer or committee member in multiple coaching organizations, including the AIA."
The induction ceremony takes place this weekend in Phoenix, AZ. Congratulations Coach Kashner!! We're so proud of your lifetime achievements.
